“Three men and a baby” (Nimoy, 1987), “Big daddy” (Dugan, 1999), “Monsters, Inc.” (Docter,Silverman and Unkrich, 2001), “Instructions not included” (Derbez, 2013) and “The kid” (Chaplin, 1921) are films that show a vision of paternity and rewrite the traditional concept of what a family is. Therefore, they share similarities within their narrative, as well as in character’s construction and their evolution, especially with paternal character.Downloads
