This essay explores the multiplicity of the gaze, the decentration of the interpretation and the weight of the place of enunciation, through two images of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, taken by the photographers Jaime Rázuri and Víctor Bustamante in 1989 and 1991 respectively. This exercise is carried out in a context in which the revaluation of the photographic archive focuses on its ability to reinscribe narratives of the past and rewrite them in various contemporary dynamics linked to the construction of identity, memory exercises and even the production of art works.Downloads
